FELASA wants to promote and facilitate the attendance to the FELASA 2022 congress (https://www.felasa2022.eu/) in Marseille on 13^th-16^th June 2022 by offering 10 scholarships of 800 euros each to:

· Technicians

· Graduates

· PhD students

· Post-doctoral fellows who have submitted an abstract to the FELASA 2019 congress.

Click here for the scholarship call. Applications must be sent to felasabox@gmail.com by the deadline of 15^th January 2022 and contain:

· Evidence that the candidate is a member of a FELASA Member Association (see https://felasa.eu/about-us/members)

· A copy of an abstract submitted to the FELASA 2022 congress with the candidate named in the authorship

· A short CV

· A letter of motivation that:

o justifies the application

o explains how the scholarship will benefit the candidate’s career

o illustrates how the candidate will be able to broadcast the newly acquired knowledge in their institution and network

· A statement confirming that no other scholarship, bursary, or sponsoring will be used to attend the congress (apart from funding from the candidate’s institution)

· A Proof of status consisting in an official letter from a direct supervisor. For example:

o Animal facility manager

o Principal Investigator

o PhD supervisor

· In the case of Post-docs, evidence that the PhD thesis was not defended before the FELASA 2019 congress (10^th-13^th June 2019) will be provided.

A Selection Committee nominated for this specific task will determine the candidates receiving the scholarships. Only candidates with accepted abstracts will be considered. The decision will be communicated to those receiving the grant through the FELASA secretary before the early bird registration deadline.

Candidates will be responsible for their travel arrangements and registration to the Congress in the terms and fees corresponding to their status. Student/technician special fee will be granted only if the corresponding proofs are provided according to the registration policy displayed on the Congress webpage https://www.felasa2022.eu/attendance/registration/.

Scholarship payment will be processed after the Congress, following confirmation of the candidate’s attendance in person.
